Side Dish--

Hi!! Hope everyone had an amazing turkey day!! We had a wonderful time. I always love spending time chowing down and hanging with the fam. Im so blessed! And love thanksgiving! I think its a holiday that means so much to you as you get older. As a kid I knew the meaning, and was thankful. But didnt really get the same happy feeling that I do now. Now I know what realllly being blessed is. And as an adult it fills me up when i think of how lucky and blessed I have been. So its such a meaningful day to me. Family is so important and its a great thing to have a day to reflect on those blessing and miracles.

I thought Id post a side dish recipe I made with Thanksgiving dinner. And will make again for Xmas Im sure heehee! Its a big hit, super easy and it a traditional holiday side that my grandma and mom made every year, so it bring back lotsa memories. ;)

I cant stress enough just how easy this is! And even if your not a 'bean' person, you should try these! ;)

...... just got some sad news while typing this. my dad is in the hospital. i dont want to go to much into it now as im trying not to work myself up. but please pray for him. or keep him in your thoughts. thankyou.

trying to keep my mind off it and busy....

Butterbeans & Bacon
2 cans of butterbeans (drained)
1 lb of bacon
1 lg onion

Chop your bacon into small pieces. Cook over med/high heat.
While that is cooking, dice your onion, and when your bacon is looking nice and crisp but could
use a little longer, add your onion and cook till the onions are soft and transparent.
Add your butterbeans and heat threw. Serve.
